Zuzul Coastal Cuisine

Our first time at Zuzul and we had an amazing experience! Jesicah was our server and she was fantastic, all of the staff we interacted with were pleasant, and the space was neat and clean. We went during tapas hour and decided to order one of each of the food items from the tapas menu to share. Everything we had was delicious, well prepared and presented beautifully. My favorites were the steak & cheese sliders and the chicken bao bun. We also enjoyed a couple of the “classic cocktails” on the tapas menu, the mojito was my favorite of the ones I tried. Overall a wonderful meal, we will definitely be back!

The service and ambiance were excellent! The cocktails were perfect. The food was just bland. We had two different dishes and an appetizer and all three lacked flavor. Would maybe go back for service and drinks.

WOW!! This restaurant is off the chain. Our drinks were incredible. The crab guacamole was absolutely amazing but the freshly made chips (extremely good) kept breaking. LOL The entrees, shrimp and grits and blackened grouper were full of flavor and fabulous prepared! The presentation of the dishes for eye-popping of color. The raspberry bread pudding with white chocolate was incredible! My wife was blown away with the texture and flavor. Jessica, our server, guided us both through the entire dinner. Her suggestions paid off. Now the things that need improvement. We sat in the enclosed patio which lacked enough AC. They had portable units but they lacked ability to cool the room effectively. Overall experience is great. Above average service. Good bar menu. The special was underwhelming. I would say food can be better. Like cozy ambience here.

I eat at Zuzu every chance I get, and it never disappoints! I usually try something new each visit and it’s always amazing—the charbroiled oysters are to die for (and I don’t even like oysters!). The drinks are consistently great, the staff is wonderful, and the atmosphere is beautiful both inside and out. Even the outdoor seating is comfortable year-round with AC and heat. Love, love, love this place!
