Customer Reviews
We've always passed by Zuru in the Florida Mall but finally got a chance to try it. Ordered a Black Garlic Tonkatsu & Chicken Ramen. There are a variety of things to choose from, easy menu to read, but we went simple to try things out. The service members were a bit too soft spoken for the busy mall, but friendly. Ordering took no time; food was ready in about 10 minutes. We ate in the food court right by the stall. The aroma of the food was divine, especially the black garlic. Our ramen was ridiculously hot which I love so that was nice. The noodles were cooked well and both broths were nice. Also they were generous with the chicken, but my Tonkatsu had ONE piece of meat in it. My quarrels are with the stinginess of the "topinngs/veggies". With how little they gave for the 'extras' I pers
The ramen was served fresh and made to order. The broth is chose was not what I expected and I wouldn't get that flavor again (sorry, I don't remember which one it was). The presentation was nice, but I had to go back for missing ingredient (green onions). The chicken was soggy and gross. That's done better at other places. The teddy bear mouse dessert was to die for however. I would buy that a million times over.
The food was great, but alot of rice. I also ordered the P1 Spicy tuna with what I thought came with...spice and salmon, not krab and plain tuna. It wasn't bad though and I would've paid more for less rice to be honest. I also think the chopsticks should either be reusable for sanitizing or individually packaged, or in a dispenser. The daily fruit tea was passionfruit green tea. I added strawberry boba. It was really good. In reviewing the photos, I am sure I received the wrong order or something.
I ordered the Shoyu Ramen and it was average at best. The noodles tasted fresh, but the boiled egg was hard instead of soft boiled and it wasn’t runny. Also, corn in ramen? That’s weird. Pork was tender but I think it’s been in a crock pot or something for a long time. Not the freshest experience for ramen. On top of that, my wife recently ate here just a few days after I did and she found mold on her chopsticks. When we told the staff they told us that someone else earlier told them the same thing. The next question out of my mouth was “why are you still giving these out if you know it’s a problem?” And their response was “we didn’t make these and the supplier is sending us new ones and they don’t know which ones are bad and which ones are not.” So I said so throw them all away and get n
Black Garlic Tonkotsu ramen was amazing and so was the Taro tea! Dinah is very hospitable and will make sure you get what you came first! Would recommend!
