Zoku Sushi

I ordered through Uber Eats. The restaurant is at least a 5-minute drive away, and I chose it specifically because of how close it is — When I placed the order, Uber Eats warned me that the restaurant would be handling the delivery— yet the order arrived 3 hours late. The sushi was terrible, and the soy sauce tasted like it was diluted with water. I do not recommend this place at all.

--UPDATED-- Wow, this response is super helpful. Thank you!!! Just ordered again :) will use email in the future for dietary requests when needed. The food is good, but at least half the time they don't answer the phone and it goes to voicemail. This is hard when I have a special diet and the doordash does not allow me to specify restrictions or "special requests".

Bilingual review English & Spanish: A place that never fails me for green curry or some sushi. Great hours, friendly & poignant team and almost always a cool vibe. Love when they have citypop playing. They are BYOB and I appreciate their consideration always when I carry something in. Español Un lugar que nunca me falla para tomar curry verde o sushi. Buen horario, personal amable y atento, y casi siempre un ambiente agradable. Me encanta cuando ponen música citypop. Se puede llevar tu propia bebida, y siempre agradezco su consideración cuando traigo algo.

I’ve been dining here since 2020, usually one of my favorite spots which I recommend friends to whenever they want to try a nice quality sushi place. Today I went in for a meal, and was treated impolitely by the cashier / server who should know my face well by now. After I paid I requested to dine in, in which he replied “why didn’t you tell me that the first time” with an attitude, which I wasn’t even offered to begin with... Then immediately afterwords he said “you don’t have a tip? If not I’m not allowing you to dine in.” The meal I paid for was around $50, and as I’ve said I’ve been here countless times tipped everytime, and right after he stated this a nonblack couple walked in and he asked politely without hesitating if they’d like to be seated lol. Terrible customer service.

This was my first time trying this place, for the outside looks pretty small but the place is really clean, the sushi was so good, the presentation, flavours and the way that it was cooked it was perfect. We order sriracha sauce for our sushi and they charged it, I think this was my first time that I paid for this sauce I don’t really mind but maybe they should tell us if we have to pay when we asked for extra sauce or another different one.
