Zocalo Mexican Bar and Grill

First of all this restaurant is not closed. Google maps takes you to a location on the south west side of the mall that is all shut down. But then we looked at the map again and you can see that the restaurant is inside the mall. I put some videos in the review to help you recognize the entrance to the mall we went in. When you first enter the mall most of it is abandoned but if you keep walking in to the left you will see a vibrant full of life restaurant. Once you are inside the restaurant you can’t even tell you are in the mall. The service was great and our food was very good. I had the carne asada steak which was super tender. It needed a little more salt for my taste though. The pico and guacamole it came with were fresh and tasty. My wife loved her huge plate of enchiladas

I love a good nacho and these chicken fajita nachos didn't disappoint... I could nit pick about the presentation but the flavor was there.. I'll just ask for some jalapeños next time. I like my dishes caliente! The chips and salsa came in clutch!! #ForkJab All Thru This 🤌🏾🤌🏾🤌🏾

Incredible food. Amazing dining experience. Food was tasteful, flavorful, and great portion size. Also, service was top notch. Waiters were fast and helpful. Very professional service. I definitely recommend this restaurant 100%.

Fantastic food! We got the birria tacos and they are the best! We sat at the bar for lunch and the service was amazing. Would recommend going!

This is incredible gentrified so if you’re looking for authentic mexican food, this is not it. The drinks, on the other hand, are delicious. What I got was something from their fall menu. I forgot the name but it had Pomegranate, vodka, lime, agave. Very strong but still tasty.
