Zip's Drive-In - Cheney

Took a 4am tire blowout on the interstate to get me to discover this amazing restaurant, my new favorite! Open 24 hrs and dining inside opens at 4am… what!?! Great friendly service, retro burger joint interior and delicious food - enjoyed the breakfast burrito and a shake. Don’t know when, but I will be back!

I'm usually impressed with this location. This is usually my go to place for lunch whenever I work in Cheney. Past 2 days have been disappointing. Yesterday, I ordered fish sandwich and fries. Fries were old and fish patty was as thin as a burger patty. I thought they were bigger than that? Today I order cheeseburger combo. At least I was warned at the speaker that there would be a bit of a wait because they were extremely behind on orders. I thought that would at least mean I'm going to get fresh food. NOPE! I waited 20 minutes and still old fries and burgers looked like they've been sitting there for more than the 20 minutes I waited. 😭😭 Guess time to find a new lunch spot. Totally not worth the 40 dollars I have spent the last 2 days.

I love zips and my fry sauce! NGL Cheney is my fav location :) The owner has done a good job straightening this place out because the tone has much improved. If I could recommend maybe bring some music in your dining area? It was awfully quiet while eating in your restaurant.

We were there on an evening after a local sporting event. The line was sooo long but the staff was calm and collected. The food came up fairly quickly and the space was clean. All in all for a local fast food burger place it was excellent!

Zip’s Drive-In in Cheney is the perfect place for classic fast food done right! The burgers are juicy and flavorful, the fries are crispy, and the shakes are thick and delicious. Everything feels fresh, and the service is always quick and friendly. A great local staple, definitely stop by when you’re craving a classic drive‑in meal!
