The service here is great — friendly and fast, especially considering how packed this place usually is. Zips is always busy, so expect a wait in line. It’s a true Cincinnati staple with plenty of history and that classic, laid-back neighborhood vibe. That said, the food is just okay. The burgers are fine — nothing mind-blowing, but solid. The fries this time were a bit stale. Our server did their best to keep up, but they were clearly swamped. If you’re in a hurry, this probably isn’t the spot for a quick bite. Come with a little patience, soak up the nostalgic atmosphere, and go more for the experience than for the food itself.

I came here with a friend and her family and had a great experience. The burgers were absolutely delicious—juicy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The atmosphere was welcoming and very family-friendly, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a meal together. The service was friendly, and the quality of the food really stood out. I’d definitely recommend getting to Zips early, as it can get busy. If you’re looking for excellent burgers in a comfortable, family-oriented environment, this place is worth a visit.

You don't stick around for 100 years without making a few friends. Zips embodies that. The food is pretty straight forward Cincinnati burger fare, but they do it well. Always a few good beers on tap, and the kids still love the train.

I had to check this out after a colleague kept raving about it. It was a great burger with a really fresh thick juicy patty. Definitely worth to check it out.

I would say a 5 out of 5. It was cool to experience a business that’s been in business for 100 years. It takes a lot to accomplish that milestone. The burger, beer and fries were very delicious.
