Zippy's Waipahu

It’s Zippy’s. We got the café service (counter ordering, sear yourself) and the speed of service was good, efficient. Pretty decent coffee—all of the other food I’d avoid for health reasons (obesity is already rampant here, why add to the situation).

Da Korean Fried Chicken? Ono to da max – and she wen hook us up wit extra sauce (must-try, no skip dat). My lil one wen crush her Keiki saimin like was da best ting eva, while my Unko wen go HAM on da drumsticks, licking da bones clean 🤣. I wen grab one Lilikoi refresher and brah… perfect aftah da long flight from Seattle. Taste like pure Hawai‘i sunshine in a cup, quenched all da thirst. My husband is traveling for work and spending time in Hawaii right now. He recently tried this restaurant for breakfast. The atmosphere was great! The restaurant is clean and well appointed. The staff was very friendly, and the food was delicious. My husband got the Breakfast Bento box with spam and corned beef. He said it was great! If you’re looking for a place to try something a little more authentic, you definitely want to check this place out.

A Hawaiian restaurant chain similar to Denny's & the like. Varied menu with many local favorites. This is a breakfast ,lunch & dinner spot complete with on site bakery. Zippy's is known for their award winning chili. The wait staff are attentive & friendly. Prices are reasonable by Hawaii standards. Stop in and give them a try if you have never been. Happy dining.
