Zio Al's Pizza & Pasta - Mansfield

Based on the reviews, I just knew this pizza was about to be a win. The top looked absolutely amazing — cheese melted just right, toppings looking picture-perfect. I was ready. But the moment I picked up a slice? Immediate letdown. The bottom of the pizza was mushy and super wet. I’m guessing the pineapples weren’t drained before being added, because the crust just couldn’t hold up. And nobody wants a soggy slice. It had so much potential, which honestly makes it even more disappointing. Hoping this was just an off night, because the visuals definitely had me fooled. 🍕😕

I recently went here for my daughter who wanted to try the pizza. We ended up getting pizza wings and a pasta. Workers were super kind and helpful! The inside is also decorated very beautifully. I ordered the pasta and it was delicious; if you enjoy good pizza you'll love it! I definitely highly recommend!!!!

Love the ease of ordering on the site! My order was hot and ready before I even arrived. The gentleman who helped me, bagged my order was incredibly helpful and gave service with a smile.. I could not wait to dig in, so I did (in the car). This pizza is DELICIOUS! I got 2 cheese pizzas and a pepperoni pizza. They were running a special BOGO. Don’t hesitate, give them a try!~sorry, no pic of the pepperoni, it was gone by the time we made it home!

I ordered the akawi cheese pie from Zio Al’s on Debbie Lane from doordash and was really disappointed. The pie barely had any cheese in it — mostly dough with a very thin, uneven layer of filling. Akawi cheese pie is supposed to be rich and generously filled, so this felt far below expectations and definitely not worth the price. I was looking forward to an authentic, satisfying cheese pie, but this one was dry and lacked the signature salty-creamy flavor you expect from akawi. Hopefully this was just an off day, but based on this experience I wouldn’t order it again unless the portion of cheese is improved. Za'atar pie was great, pizzas was good.
