Zinger Halal Express

I recently tried Zinger Halal Express, and I'm very happy to say this is the real deal. The food is amazing, the service is professional and courteous, and the atmosphere inside is really nice. The menu has a LOT of interesting options, and everything is made fresh. We tried the fried chicken, a lamb gyro, and a mixed lamb and chicken rice platter and ALL were excellent. The fried chicken definitely rivals the big names out there, large, crispy, flavorful pieces of chicken. The gyro was packed well, the lamb was delicious and it was a very nice portion. The mixed lamb and rice platter was amazing - the rice was not the usual bland rice. I am writing this review because I really like and care for this place. Attached below is the before and after of my favorite item, the chicken cheesesteak. Quite frankly, I don't believe that I have to say too much, as the images speak for themselves. The decrease in the portion size and quality of chicken is outrageous, considering the price is still the same. You cannot tell me these 2 cheesesteaks have the same value. Unless they make a change, I will not be coming here again, and advise you to do the same.

Zinger Express is absolute fire. The mixed rice platter is amazing, but the mango habanero wings are on another level — absolute bomb. Had dinner here in person around 7pm, and by 11pm I was DoorDashing it with my cousins because I needed them addicted too. Open till 3am + super cute vibes to chill with friends. New go to spot no doubt.

Second review--- We recently hosted a party at Khan Karhai and Zinger Express and had such a wonderful experience! The food was fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious—everyone kept going back for seconds. The staff was attentive, professional, and made sure everything ran smoothly throughout the event. The setup was clean, comfortable, and welcoming, which made our guests feel right at home. A big thank you to Ahad bhai and his team for making our gathering so memorable. My score is a 3.6. I ended up purchasing the platter which came with your choice of protein, rice, salad and “sauce”. The sauce was not included in the platter surprisingly. It was a mixed gyro platter which typically includes hot and white sauce. The sauce would have definitely made it much better. Additionally, the salad tasted a bit funky. As if it has been cut days a few days ago. The ambiance of the place and the gentleman at the front were nice but the most important thing to me when ordering to go is the food and hence the rating is as is. Ended up paying a little over $16 for platters. A bit pricey considering all of the pitfalls previously mentioned.
