Zevi Cafe & Bistro

Zevi Café was my first meal in San Francisco, and I couldn’t have picked a better place to start the trip. The food was delicious — a mix of Turkish dishes and American favorites. It’s a family-owned business, and our waiter kindly shared the story behind the restaurant and even gave us a few recommendations for our stay in San Francisco, which made the experience feel very personal. The portions are quite large — neither my best friend nor I could finish our plates — so sharing might be a good idea. PS: The prices are also very reasonable.

Amazing spot!The dishes were bursting with authentic flavor and everything tasted incredibly fresh. The mantı had the perfect balance of spices and sauce, the cheese pide was crisp on the outside and soft inside, and the kibbeh over yogurt and tomato was honestly one of the best I’ve tried. The hummus and warm bread were also outstanding and made the whole meal even better. Huge appreciation to Chef Saim — his craftsmanship shows in every detail, from presentation to taste. You can tell he truly cares about the quality of the food he serves. A place I’ll definitely come back to💕

Truly 5/5 experience. Came in looking for a wrap of some sort and a Turkish coffee but there Meneman (shouksha) caught my eye. Delicious. Restaurant was clean; staff friendly, attentive, and always looking out for something to clean. Atmosphere is cozy. Only negative I could mention is they're blasting the heat - or perhaps a side effect off an open kitchen. Didn't help that I had a hot dish and coffee wearing a flannel but that's on me lol definitely coming back here next time I'm in the area.

Best dang breakfast burrito I’ve had. The Zevi burrito is a unique opportunity to have a gyro fusion with America breakfast. Perfect flavor mix well done. Friendly and funny staff. Accommodating to changes made to the order. Food was brought promptly.

Great place! I wasn’t expecting to find such high-quality Turkish food in SF. Meze, döner, kebab, and baklava were all spot on. I truly felt at home.
