Zest Bar and Grill

Cute place not on Main Street but still walkable. The burger was the best burger I’ve had in a long time it was topped with pulled pork and cheddar cheese. We also had the fish sandwich, it had the very generous cod filet with all the fixings. The cod filet was breaded perfectly with a very light batter and the homemade potato chips were delicious. A 4 star rating for the rood because the regular condiments were not premium, ketchup had a funny taste and the ranch dressing tasted like kraft(eww). The atmosphere was inviting and I love the Florida wall art.

I’m from out of town and was recommended Zest by two different locals and it did not disappoint! The Steak Frites were so good. I sat at the bar and the bartender knew his stuff and was great to talk to. He made me a couple of drinks and shared his knowledge which was cool. The Smoked Manhattan was AMAZING. The owner is very hands on and I loved chatting with her. Highly recommend, 10 out of 10.

Stopped in for a quick meal. Nice clean atmosphere. Great service, very polite staff. Empanadas were good, shrimp and grits were a nice variation. Overall a pleasant experience

This place should be fined for having food this good. I don't think I even took a breath while eating the zest burger. My wife's plate is still full of loaded nachos, and I'm here thinking about the key lime pie while I tear up these fries. Legitimately upset with myself for not savoring that burger more. Definitely coming back! By the way, note that in the picture my burger is gone lol.

Enjoying the central Florida world from our home in PInellas County we found ourselves in Bartow for a night. We ate dinner on a Saturday night at Zest and had a great experience. Our server, Sarah was just the best! Helpful, friendly and professional she delivered our food exactly as we had asked and checked back often to make sure everything was great. I had an amazing hamburger on the best bread I’ve ever had on a burger. Sure would like to know where they get those buns! My wife had the Havana Salad and both of our meals were perfect. Nice selection of draft beer along with any domestic one might want. I think the owner was on the floor making sure everything was right. Don’t miss the chocolate mousse pie. Unbelievable. Thank you Zest and we are anxious to come back soon.
