Delish & Quick!! Stopped in with the hubs for a quick bite after a business trip to the city. Apps (steak kabobs) were seriously delicious, wish there were more than two sticks. The sushi was fresh, nothing spectacular but I’d definitely go back to try more. Another plus, they had my favorite Japanese beer in stock (Sapporo). 🥰
Excellent service, sushi, and drinks! Went here on a busy Thursday night and while there was noticable noise I had no issue hearing everyone at my table. I really liked the cocktails I got and I thought they were very reasonably priced for not being a happy hour. I definitely enjoyed the sushi but it wasn't so amazing that I feel like I need to come back for it—although I usually get takeout sushi from small businesses (not full blown restaurants). Overall I thought this was a chill spot for drinks and light bites. A bit expensive (not overpriced for what you get) fo ra full dinner, so I will most likely be back for happy hour.
My husband and I wanted to try this place because they had cool godzilla drawing on their wall outside lol The food was great! Better than we expected. Sushi, Katsu, and Takoyaki were fresh and delicious. They have such a cool vibe inside as well.
If you’re looking for a sushi spot in DC that balances quality, vibes, and presentation — Zeppelin delivers. We went the omakase route and let the chef take control. Each piece came out thoughtfully paced, properly seasoned, and beautifully plated. The rice was warm and balanced, the fish was clean and fresh, and the cuts were generous without being over the top. Highlights included buttery toro and delicately torched selections that melted instantly. Of course, we added extra nigiri because restraint is overrated. Zero regrets. Cocktails were solid — well balanced and not overly sweet — which paired nicely with the progression of the omakase. The space itself has a sleek, modern feel with an energetic but not chaotic atmosphere. Great for a date night or a small group that actually app
For a long time, I have held Zeppelin in high regard for its quality and service, but our most recent experience was unfortunately frustrating. From the time we ordered, our meal took about 90 minutes to prepare due to multiple order errors, which included a "premium" platter being replaced by a standard one, and a second attempt containing an ingredient we specifically asked to exclude. While the waiter kindly offered to comp the platter for the trouble, it remained on the final bill. When the food finally came out, the quality was very good. Note that there is an automatic 20% service charge regardless of the experience. Unfortunately, we don’t think we will be returning to Zeppelin.
