Zen Garden Restaurant

I'm going to preface this with their fantastic service. Always polite and prompt. The food is very bog standard. I ordered the Mongolian beef tonight. There were exactly 7 tiny pieces of cornstarch coated, sugar soaked beef mush. The rest was an absolutely massive pile of near raw onions. I don't mind vegetable fillers, but I have no desire to eat a pile of raw onions. If the dish is going to be 90% vegetable, can it be edible ones? This will probably be my last time ordering. I'm feeling a little ripped off.

Placed a take out order then did my grocery shopping next door. Dinner was waiting when I went to pick it up. It was a great! Delicious, great flavors, textures, and quantity. We had glazed shrimp with walnuts and veggie lo mein. Will order again for sure!

Zen Garden offers great food! I like that you can place your order online. I did learn when ordering online that you have to order multiples when ordering some apps. The menu says spring rolls with an “s” so I assumed more than 1 roll. This is not the case, it only comes as 1 roll. So make sure if you want multiples on the rolls you order the number you want. Otherwise ordering online is really easy and the food was great!

Without a doubt my favorite restaurant in the area. The food is incredible, the service is always top notch and the atmosphere is quiet, comfortable and clean. I started only coming here the past few months and I regret not coming sooner. I am a fan of the Lo mein, the Mongolian beef and especially the Chicken Rice Soup. Unfortunately I have never had the time to sit down and eat at the location, and have always received take out. However, whenever I go the young guy behind the counter always seems to know my name only after a few visits and it is a really great and kind atmosphere. It is never loud and bright inside. A very relaxed atmosphere. The prices are more than generous for what you get in return as the portions can sometimes last me 2 days for just 1 person. I recommend leaving
