Zeitgeist Restaurant & Bar

We had a fantastic meal last night. We didn’t have a reservation and got to sit at the bar. Our bartenders were friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. We started with a lovely squash tempura, followed by a cup of delicious beef and onion soup and a cup of vegan lentil curry. I’m not a vegan, but was impressed by the flavor. The agnolotti was out of this world. The chef behind this dish is clearly creative and understands balance with so many elements on the plate. My husband had the salmon and grits. He enjoyed it, but it was way too spicy for me. Guessing the spice came from the tomatillo salsa or the pan sauce. For dessert we ended the meal with a vegan pineapple cheesecake. Fantastic dining experience. The food was delicious. We had the tempura cauliflower, corn salad and Lake Superior white fish. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable. I have celiac disease and our server was very helpful. We will def be back!

Great place! Our bartender had wonderful suggestions and was really great to talk to. The monte was very delicious and would recommend adding the egg. The burger was ok, its missing some flavor but was cooked perfectly! Cajun fries are a must! Definitely want to come back for the brunch at some point!!

No pictures as I was too hungry! I come to Duluth a few times a year for work and happened upon this restaurant tonight while searching “Duluth, MN vegetarian restaurants”. I was SO happy to find somewhere that truly had multiple options for me to be excited about. The food was incredible! I even saved a little for an after hotel gym workout because I couldn’t bare to waste any! Will be back anytime I am on the area! Thank you!

Can’t begin to describe how wonderful this restaurant is! All the food was exceptional, great vibe, and service was amazing (thank you Anna)! Definitely our new go-to place in Duluth.
