This isn’t my usual part of town, but after receiving a gift card to ZAZA last Christmas, we finally made the trip. Navigating The Heights can be a bit of a challenge with tight streets, heavy street parking, and plenty of stop signs, but fortunately this location has its own parking lot tucked behind the building. With the sign reading “Fine Salad & Wood Oven Pizza Co.”, we weren’t sure if we were underdressed, especially seeing people out front sipping wine and craft beers. (Also, calling their salads “Zalads” feels like a missed marketing opportunity.) Inside, though, it has more of a relaxed, walk-up feel. There’s limited seating downstairs and outside, with a larger eat-in area upstairs that we didn’t check out. The restrooms are located far in the back in an area that almost feels

Cool little pizza place serving up pizza, salads, and gelato. We tried the Four Seasons and Zaza Italian Sausage. Both were very good. Great crust. Possibly a little on the crispy/burnt side but not by too much. It’s hard to tell from the photos. It wasn’t completely full in there and pizzas took about 20-30 min to come out. Got some cookies and cream gelato on the way out. It’s a nice serving size for the large.

This place is a surprise. From the outside is nice, but the inside is great. The attendants are kind and helpful, and the prices are not bad. The salads are excellent, while the pizza, the crust of which is made out of semolina, is the best we have eaten in quite a while. The Gelato, made on the premises, is fresh and excellent. This place is worth the time and the dollars.

I’ve always loved dining at Zaza, and the quality of the food is truly exceptional. However, I’m feeling deeply disappointed after my recent experiences. It’s disheartening to spend $35+ on salads, only to wait almost an hour for them. In the end, we decided to request a refund since it was frustrating to leave without anything after such a long wait. While I understand that mistakes can happen, this wasn't the first time I faced issues with my order, including missing chicken, given the wrong order, or incorrect items are added to the salad. When you find a place you genuinely enjoy, it’s painful to deal with these inconsistencies. Each visit now feels like a gamble, and it saddens me to think that I might have to reconsider returning, despite my love for the food. I really hope to see

Heard about this restaurant brought my family in Sunday evening for dinner the place was pack, long line, finally we made it to front and it seen like everything just stop, all the young ladies seen like they didn't want to serve us they kept running from the counter so they wouldn't have to take our order, finally another slim skinny blonde headed young lady walk up the counter im like finally at last she finna take our order, but she did the opposite starting taking other people order behind me, then the other young lady starting taking other people behind just left us standing in the front of the line. It felt very racist in ZaZa, not only i felt it my family felt it like we wasn't even wanted there we didn't even get a chance to order, we just left the racist tension was thick in the
