Today was the first official day open and they actually opened on time at 10:30am. Management and staff workers were just as excited about today’s opening as we were. The wait was not long to get our food, and we ordered a lot of food. They had a lot of milk shake flavor options, we chose the cake batter flavor which was great next I will try the cookie! The chicken fingers were perfectly cooked, the fries were perfectly seasoned, coleslaw tasted fresh, fried pickles and the veggie egg rolls were to die for with ranch dressing and the sweet & sour sauce. Speaking of sauces we chose almost all of them and not one of them disappointed. They all had a unique flavor and none were so hot in zesty flavor that you couldn’t enjoy. The wife and I drove down from Jersey City for the opening day today because we LOVE Zaxbys! Everytime we go down south, we make sure we stop at a Zaxbys! We were so excited that one of our favorite chains are now up north so we had to visit. The food was up to par, the service was a bit chaotic, which we expected because it was the first day. The cashiers warned everyone that there would be a wait up to an hour possibly because of the demand. They asked us if we would like to come back and we wold them no, we will wait. Good thing we did wait because 20 minutes later, our names were called with our orders. One of the managers was so nice and accommodating. She made sure we had everything and made sure we were straight. I loved that. Nothing like a worker going above and beyond for the cus
My food review is based off of 12/20/25 With staff mates : Nevaeh and Mani who helped tremendously on servicing. - The food was very tasty and the service was impeccable, given the circumstances. There has been numerous reviews that doesn’t acknowledge the service or hospitality of the workers and staff that serves in the establishment. This Zaxby’s is the first one on the east coast. The other closest location is in Virginia. This is still very new. Please be patient, the food is really fresh Recommendation : The owner should be at this location daily to help better serve the community, shake hands with the locals, and make the company feel warm and pleased. Opinion : This is not a southern location that has Zaxby’s nor is it like any other chicken place so please do not compare as mu
Ordered my food through GrubHub for lunch received my food no drink the sauce was not in the bag no napkins and burnt fries and burnt toast. Complete waste of money go to iffy’s or anywhere else. It was a waste of money. The last picture shows you the actual size of the tender. It’s smaller than a wingette.
If you think you’re slick by placing an online order and think you can beat the lines & wait 🤣 you’ll be in for a rude awakening…. When you place your order it gives you an ETA… that ETA is when the order is actually sent to the restaurant… So add an extra hour to that wait…. Drive through lines are excessive, sure you can order inside but it will take an hour. From the App it lets you call the store, that phone number has been turned off (apparently they still using MagicJack) Now if you call Zaxby’s customer service they will apologize and say unfortunately the location is a franchise location and they can’t cancel the order. They will raise a ticket to the franchise owner at their discretion they will refund. The lines should cool down after about February, wanna order now??? You’
