Zaxby's Chicken Fingers & Buffalo Wings

My 1st experience with this chain, got the chicken finger tacos. Pretty good actually , the dining experience is a little better than your normal fast food as the Booths are private.

July 31, 2025 update I went to this location and was given raw fries. It was the afternoon and I was the only vehicle in line and went straight through. How does a cook make raw fries and there's zero rush??? It's not like getting old hard food when it's near closing. This was afternoon with basically no customers so how is someone so rushed that they cook cook for the timeframe needed for them to be done? Ridiculous! I'll go down the hill to Guthrie's. Always been my experience that they cook their food. After debating with myself over 3 possible places to stop I finally went to Zaxby's. Myself and about four other cars pulled up to the drive-thru menu about 5 minutes before 9:00. I will pause here to say that I just asked Google what time does the store in Trussville Alabama close and they said 10:00 Sunday through Thursday. I have since looked up that store individually and it does say 9:00. But myself and the four cars behind me were all there before 9:00. I sat there and waited and waited and waited and waited and there was already a car at the pickup window. Then at 9:02 whoever was inside said oh we're closed and that was it. Then she told all of the other cars behind me the same thing. I get it. It's Sunday night and they want to go home. They probably already pre-closed everything inside. *Update 12-15-18* - 1 star Today's food was bad. TLC sandwich had cold and flattened bun. The chicken filet was smaller than a tender. Ordered 3 of the hottest sauces and they all looked different but the heat was mild. Heat in their sauces never have consistency at this location. Kickinn sandwich with peach Sprite combo ordered around 3:30pm. 15 minute wait after ordering in drive through then I had to park and wait for an employee to bring my order out. This location wasn't busy inside at this time of day so the wait should have been only a few minutes.

I normally get the four-piece snack and 100% of the time and in every restaurant they have always substituted one chicken finger or two pieces of toast for the fries, this time I bought the 20 piece meal asked if we could just swap out for toast, not even chicken but toast because we had a long drive ahead of us in the fries we're going to get cold, the girl asked a manager and said no we don't do that here, keep in mind they have done that every single time that I've ever been in here. To be honest I've never tasted a Zaxby's fry as they've always swapped it out. Spending $40 for 20 chicken fingers is on me but I promise you it'll be the last time. To not be able to substitute it for anything is absolutely insane especially something as insignificant and cheaper like toast. I don't know w
