I ordered two 10 inch cakes. One was strawberry with a vanilla filling for valentines day, the other was carrot cake with cream cheese for Chinese new year. They were great! The custom decorations exceeded our expectations and it was a total hit at a party full of people who don't even like cake that much. We asked for everything to be less sweet, as that's how we like it. The cakes tasted amazing, even at 3 days old. I will say, the fillings on the inside were pretty thick, which I'm not complaining about because they were good, but if you're looking for the thin layer of filling and thick pieces of cake you might have to ask otherwise. This bakery is an absolute gem! From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by how beautifully everything was displayed. The space was spotless and inviting, which made a great first impression. Zach was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which added to the experience. The cheesecake was so fresh, clearly made with care. Everything looked delicious, with great attention to detail and presentation. As a business owner myself, I can tell this place is run with pride and passion. I’ll definitely be back!

Obsessed! We should all be thankful to have a French bakery right here in NEPA. The owner is classically trained and uses high quality ingredients, like European butter, to ensure they're absolutely delicious. The croissants are life changing and the pretzels are the perfect level of soft and chewy. 100/10 you must go!

Yes. Just yes. My family loves the ham & cheese croissant and pain au chocolat. The chocolate crème puffs are next level with intensely chocolate filling. Every macaron we’ve tried is exquisite. I’m so happy we have a place like Zax bringing quality viennoiserie in the greater-Scranton area.
