Zarate's Latin Mexican Grill

This was our first time. The restaurant is clean and festive. However it’s the food and service that are the stars. We sampled several dishes Fom the jerk nachos, chimichanga, and enchiladas. Everything was great. Homemade salsa sauces and I cleaned my plate.”which I rarely do” Our server was the best. Attentive but not doting. Perfect lunch.

Jorge is back! I did an old favorite of mine, Cuban pork chops. Comes with rice and black beans, garnished with pickled onions and avocado. Take a look at the photo! Serious flavor goin on there. Enjoyed with one frosty Tecate with lime, awesome taste bud test. Come early, come often, bring your friends, and run, don’t walk down to Zarate’s Latin Mexican Grill. The taste and smells of South America and the Caribbean will intoxicate you!

The food was very tasty, and the atmosphere was giving a lot of cultural value. They have stuff from all over Latin America. Out waiter was very polite, he was trying to speak in Spanish to communicate with my mom since she doesn’t know English. Top notch service, delicious food and pricing was fair!

Everything was really fresh, just not super consistent or put together well. My avocado salad was just lettuce, tomato, avocado, and loads of cheese. The steak however was juicy and tender. I say not consistent because my partner got a chimichurri style sauce , tried it, liked it, asked for my own and it was not the same.

Delicious Latin cuisine and pretty strong drinks. My lady got really tipsy and when we got home it was Mr nasty time
