Zabb PuTawn Brooklyn

The location is so beautiful! We visited for lunch at about 2:30 and it was nice and quiet with just enough people inside.. staff is so kind and attentive and the food is by far so so authentic! I always go for a basil fried rice and this place really hits the flavors perfectly! The papaya salad is also so delicious and the crispy pork was cooked to perfection! Both of our drinks were made so perfectly and had just the right amount of kick to it! Highly recommend checking them out!

I actually really liked the main entrees at Zabb PuTawn but there were a few things that were off for me. First off, this place was busy and there was only one staff member in the front who served and seated everyone - thank you so much for all your hard work, I know it was super busy! The heater was broken when we were there so the place was freezing, we had to wear our coats and to be honest, we were looking forward to leave so we could get some heat. The fried chicken wings appetizer is a skip for me, the meat quality was okay though the sauce was delicious. The main entrees is what you should come here for, I loved my garlic chicken stir fry and the milky tom yum soup heated us up nicely. Would come back again just for entrees!

Came here on a whim, no expectations or what so ever, just wanted to have some Thai food. When we walked in, they greeted us warmly and really nice. Atmosphere is very fancy but surprisingly the prices on the menu are pretty reasonable. We randomly ordered appetizers and entrees. Everything was amazingly. Something as simple as a soup that came with the lunch special blown me away. Even my toddler kept asking for more because he was so tasty. Food was fresh, crispy appetizers were actually hot and crispy. Definitely a place that we would purposely travel to eat and recommend for our family and friends to visit.

Great menu and generally excellent. I have one small niche complaint in that the nuer naam tok doesn’t seem to be grilled as it should be (mine seemed pan fried and tasted vaguely boiled). Everything else I’ve eaten here has been excellent (tasty tom yum, great gaeng keaw wan, etc). This restaurant is a notch more expensive than some of the others in the neighborhood.

I’ve had this place saved on my Beli for a while and I finally had a chance to come since I was in the area. I got the Northen style curry noodles with ground pork, pork ribs, and rice vermicelli. This dish was absolutely fantastic, it was spicy but not enough where I need to be drinking water after every bite, the ribs were super tender and fell off the bones, and the pickled veggies balanced the curry out. I would definitely come back to try their other items.
