Z Burger (Capitol Hill)

Restaurant was close to my hotel while I was visiting DC for a few days. I stopped by twice and had a great experience both times. Excellent service. I was planning on getting a burger, but asked the lady for suggestions and she recommended the Philly cheese. So, that's what I ordered. Really good, and loved the almost same as 5 Guys fries. So good! The next day I ordered a chicken sandwich with cheese. Huge! Overall both experiences were great!

A great place with tasty food. I ordered the chicken sandwich. It's big and delicious. I paid 19 for the whole meal. The fries is really big.

Great spot for quality made-to-order burgers, fries and shakes. Was surprised to see they’re rated at 4.1 (at the time of writing this) as my experience was truly excellent. Service was friendly, the burger was made with care (you can watch the cooks from the tables), the shake was delicious with just the right thickness, the fries were so good, and pricing was quite reasonable given the quality of ingredients. A couple of the chairs are a little worn but overall it’s a good spot that I will be revisiting. Recommended if you’re in the area.

Um umm. That is one tasty burger !! Made to order with mushrooms and fried onions with a splash of Z sauce. We ate them twenty four hours later. Unfortunately we also bought a regular onion ring sack. Full onion slice coated in corn meal? The amount you get was enough for us to fill our belly's. Even our pup enjoyed a plain single cheeseburger. Turned out to be a great meal before the fireworks. Quick in and out. Pup friendly with outdoor seating.

Wow....I was hungry waiting for someone to arrive at Union Station and decided to try Z Burger. Never had one so this was a first for me. The Staff was helpful and patient with my ordering. The selections and options were plentiful for a Fast Food operation...cheese steaks, hot dogs, turkey and plant based burgers. I ordered the double bacon cheeseburger and the half/half Onion Rings and Fries. Boy-o-Boy. I was very pleasantly surprised. This wasn't Fast Food but a gourmet burger you.might get from a fancy restaurant. First, the burger was top quality beef pressed into action right in front of you. Cooked, it had the right amount of texture, grease and taste. Then the melted American Cheese tasted like REAL CHEESE. On top of the routine lettuce and tomato, I added jalapeño pepper
