Yummy Thai

If you’ve never tried Thai food before, this is the perfect place to start. I’ve had a curry, a stir-fry, and now the Tom Yum soup, and every single dish has been delicious. The sticky rice is always cooked just right, too. You can tell the person in the kitchen really knows what they’re doing and truly enjoys cooking. The food is comforting, flavorful, and feels like something made with care — like a warm hug in a bowl. Nothing is overwhelming, just rich, cozy flavors with beautiful color. I was especially impressed by how much meat came in my Tom Yum soup — definitely not skimpy. If you’re curious about Thai food but not sure what to expect, this place is absolutely worth trying.

Found Yummy Thai on our recent trip to Canyon City / the Royal Gorge. I have celiac and the options in town were pretty limited but yummy Thai had options and the owner was knowledgeable about celiac and what would contain gluten. Food was delicious. Portion sizes were insanely big. Split the combo pad Thai with my fiance.

Nice big portions and affordable food, perfect for refueling after a day of climbing. There wasn't many people here when we arrived but they filtered in, and it seems to be a favorite spot of the local police to grab a bite. No frills place in a strip mall but fast, friendly service, good value and good food! Would return!

Oh my! I thought I was back in Thailand. This is a very quaint place. Nothing Super fancy. Casual wear is perfect and the chairs are padded and comfortable. Very very clean. The staff is very friendly and attentive. My Curry was absolutely delicious. My plate was huge. There was so much meat in my plate that I actually got to have a piece of meat with every bite I took. It's one of the best curries I've ever had since I visited Thailand. The man next to me was having some Tom Yum and that's going to be my next order. Food came quickly. I believe that the choices were heat or mild heat for how hot you wanted your spices. I chose the mild one to be safe. And I was able to taste the seasoning but it didn't burn my tongue. Being very honest to almost didn’t eat here because it looked like a small place that we’re not busy. I have to tell you we traveled the country constantly due to remote jobs every three months different town and this has to be one of the best Thai places I’ve ever eaten in my life. The sticky rice is absolutely beyond description along with the Tom ⚾️ seafood soup and don’t even get me started on the pad Thai. You absolutely will not regret eating at this place.
