Yummis Frozen Yogurt and Cafe

Great ice-cream joint! They got self serve ice-cream and toppings. You pay by weight which is great to set limits on sugar intake. Staff needs to be more aware of allergies though. My son had sherbet which had milk, which caused slight swelling and irritation in his throat. Thank God he only ate a little before notifying me.

Yummys is a fun little ice cream joint in downtown Clermont. They serve hersheys ice cream in many different flavors. There is a huge toppings bar with quirky ingredients like unicorn poop and several different flavors of boba. Near the back of the shop they have several unique flavors of frozen yogurt that is all very “yummy”. Pun intended. Want a hot coffee? They have that also. They serve the ice cream on waffle cones, waffle bowls, regular cones, or in three different size cups which are weighed at the register. Everything tastes amazing and the service is excellent. Very well ran shop. Yummys is a staple in downtown Clermont. I think it always will be.

We went in about 9:15. The Hot fudge machine was already shut down for the night. My husband and I split 2 scoops and went very light on toppings, but it was still over $11 for a medium cup. They ask for a tip on the screen, but it really is self service so not sure what the tips are for. As someone mentioned, there are teenagers working there who do not appear happy to be there. I regret leaving a tip. In the end, too pricey with having to weigh it. Would be better to just charge a flat rate depending on the size and include two toppings. Then charge extra if people want additional toppings. We were surprised at the end with the cost, but you don’t realize it is over priced until you have to pay. Probably won’t be back.

Small but cute little ice cream, gelato, frozen yogurt shop in Clermont. Clean and yummy treats in cup or cone. Inside and outside limited seating. We stopped in on Sunday afternoon and all seats were full but there was a couple of empty seats quickly. Parking on street right in front of shop.
