Yumi Asian Bistro

Ive been coming to this place since high school and as per usual the service, the food, the music, the atmosphere and staff has never steered me wrong! I love you Karen dont ever change my love!

I enjoyed the food very much. Service was good. Very nice decor.

I stopped by Yumi in Pelham Parkway for dinner with my husband. The two ladies working the floor were kind and welcoming, even though it was close to closing and they looked like they had a long day. We were seated along with another family. Unfortunately, the experience with the cook was very disappointing. He seemed frustrated from the start and repeatedly got the orders wrong, even though he asked everyone what they wanted beforehand. Instead of correcting himself calmly, he became visibly irritated. At one point, he left the food unattended to get more rice and even threw the tray of noodles onto another counter. As he served, the food was tossed carelessly onto the plates most of it landed on the counter instead. I’ve eaten at many hibachi restaurants, and I’ve never seen service h

I was not too impressed. The food was not as tasteful as the Hibachi in City Island and the chef was not as humorous or interactive. He put shrimp in my son's plate and I told him he is allergic he can't have that on his plate, yet he made no effort to remedy the situation or remove the shell fish. I will never go again.

One of my favorite places. The entire staff is amazing! I always get the Thai curry chicken, a clear soup and salad. Plum Saki Sangria is my go to . It’s the perfect recipe! The curry is always hot and spicy . Here’s a photo of the aftermath. Yummi
