YUKI Japanese Restaurant

This was my husband and I’s first time eating here and it did not disappoint! The crab Rangoon is made fresh and you can tell the sauce is homemade as well (it’s literally the best I’ve ever had). I got the beef lo mein, and it had real chunks of beef in it and the vegetables were delicious and crunchy. My husband got two sushi rolls that he enjoyed very much as well. The staff is extremely friendly and kind. Overall, a great experience and some of the best Asian cuisine I’ve ever had!

I ordered the poke bowl and pan fried gyoza. The gyoza was very good, not greasy at all. The poke was different than what I've had in the past in that you don't really get to choose what goes in it. It had lettuce and salad mix which was odd and the whole thing was slathered in too much yum yum sauce. It would have probably worked better for me if it had come on the side. Overall an okay experience.

My boyfriend and I wanted to try somewhere different, and I’m so glad we did. The service was wonderful and the food was even better. This my first time having a Poke Bowl and it was very good. We had the Tuna Poke Bowl, Hawaiian Poke Bowl, and Rainbow Roll, all were very good. The prices are more than reasonable. Highly recommended. It was also very clean.

Personally, if the food and service are good, I don't care if the atmosphere is good (the atmosphere was great; old Brittany and Backstreet Boys kept me jamming). That being said, Yuki provided some of the best ramen and sushi I have had in a while. I like to travel and I frequently visit ramen shops when I am out of town, and it feels good knowing Terre Haute has a ramen shop this good. The portions were huge, the wasabi was HOT, and the ramen was incredible. 11/10.

This was my first visit to Indiana, and I tried a local restaurant; the food was excellent, the atmosphere was peaceful, and the prices were reasonable. I recommend these spots.
