Your Vegan Chef

Absolutely Delicious! My friend brought me as a belated Christmas gift and it was well work the drive from Indianapolis. I had the Cauliflower Wings & Taco combo and he had the Sliders and Fries. As an old "real meat" head, he's always skeptical about my veganism options but he keeps raving about how good the food was. We will be coming back for sure. 🙂

The food is always and I mean ALWAYS superb and heavenly! The service is invariably great. The chef is very delightful and inviting. Anytime there’s a new dish I want to try it and I definitely repeat meals. It’s all so delectable I don’t know what’s my favorite.🤭♥️ I love the food so much! Located in a cozy, quaint spot is Your Vegan Chef. Big bright eyes and a full smile confidently greets you to meet your dining needs. Your Vegan Chef is prepared, prompt, and on point! Superseding expectations with her Mushroom Chicken, vegan collards, and perfectly prepared sweet potatoes a new standard is being set for SOUL FOOD. This is good food that is good for you. If you love “meaty,” “cheesy,” lasagna, try a generous portion , paired with side (dressing optional), and garlic bread … Did I mention the mushroom chicken though!! Presentation, texture, and taste TERRIFIC!!

I’m an avid supporter of vegan and black owned restaurants being a foodie I get excited about trying new restaurants that cater to my vegan lifestyle. I visited the establishment on a Thursday only item on the menu was the Soul Food Plate for $25 before tax. The Soul Food plate came with Collard Greens, Sweet Potatoes, Vegan Macaroni and your choice of Fried Cauliflower Bits or Fried Oyster Mushrooms, I chose the Oyster Mushrooms. I really enjoyed the vegan macaroni and the sweet potatoes. The vegan macaroni has been the best I’ve had so far and the sweet potatoes were delicious. Now as for the Collard Greens they were way too salty, I felt like I was eating a salt lick. Now idk how Fried Oyster Mushrooms could be tough but these were, I believe that the oyster mushrooms were fried ahead

This was the ritz lounge at Indy a pop up holiday dinner. I GOT THERE 2:15 started at 2 the line was crazy but man it was honestly work the 2 hr wait the FOOD IS BOMB. The oyster chicken taste like chicken & I haven’t had chicken in decades! THE YAMS, string beans Mac ALL FIRE!! Like this meal truly lifted my spirit. I knew I wasn’t going to have a holiday meal this year & this made me so happy!
