Lovely library with tons of great options for kids of all ages. Their family story time is super engaging and kept my busy 3 year olds attention the entire time. They also have lots of programs/events for people of all ages

Small to medium-sized library. It was pretty nice there but they got rid of couches that would seat six around a decent size table and replace them with three chairs that no one seems to use. They also got rid of the table so you can't put any books down. Also, there was a research area that had a few tables and chairs in there especially if you needed a quiet place. They removed all the books and shelves out of that entire area and just left the tables and chairs for some reason. There was a board that had suggestions for different reading levels and books for a different grades but they got rid of that too. They did replace the carpet though which didn't actually have anything wrong with it to begin with. It seems that whoever is in charge of the Franklin county libraries wants to

Very nice story time for kids, every Tuesday at 11:00 am. Most of the library employees are friendly. So far so good!

Charming little library. Very helpful professionals (extremely helpful). Well organized - and because they're part of the NC Cardinal system, I can get any book that I want :-)
