Yotopia Frozen Yogurt

We stopped in here after eating lunch nearby, and it did not disappoint. The person there offered us samples since we had no idea what was going on. All of the flavors were packed full of flavor! It was a situation where you grab your cup size and add the frozen yogurt or sherbet. Add the toppings and sauces. Then you weigh the amount and pay by weight. Everything was great, and we will be stopping here again! I will say, I would make sure that newcomers know about the small dividers that I saw in a different review. It wouldn’t have made a difference for mine, but it likely would have helped separate the flavors for some other family members! Regardless, it was still a wonderful place, and I definitely recommend going here for dessert!

Best local sweet treat around! Have been missing Molly’s Cupcakes and to my surprise Yotopia makes a B-Day Bash yougurt using Molly’s cake. DELICIOUS!

I really enjoy going to yotopia with my wife and we usually love this place. Today however, we were basically run out the store. I understand it was close to closing but we did arrive before closing and were hoping to get some froyo to take home. Instead we were told twice that it was close to closing so we decided to leave instead. Great tasting froyo. Just one negative experience so far.

Everything runs extremely smoothly, and it’s obvious that so much time and dedication went into creating this place, which truly puts customers first. It goes above and beyond to create a joyful and captivating experience. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for the best sweet treat of their life! Yotopia is an Iowa City staple! They have delicious flavors & toppings made with local dairy and do collaborations with other local businesses. There are so many options for toppings and they always have non-dairy flavors and a tart flavor (unflavored/unsweetened), so there is something for everyone. I also love that they are woman-owned, and do fundraisers for local community organizations. I first had Yotopia years ago as a student, and I missed it when I moved away! Now that I am back in town, I bring all my friends and family here when they visit. Even our dogs love coming here to grab a pup cup! We 🩵 Yotopia!
