Yopcity restaurant

Had to try this spot for lunch after seeing numerous reviews on Instagram. We arrived around 2pm mid-week, so it was not during the height of the lunch crowd. Luckily we found street parking right near the place, but I imagine during busy times, finding parking could be difficult. The place was empty, so we were seated immediately. The server came over quickly with menus, but offered little information or suggestions. I ordered based on what I had seen in online reviews. We had hoped for some fresh juices to go with our meal, but we're told they were all sold out. We ordered the fried fish, chicken, and a side of plantains. The food was fresh and made to order. Another great food adventure with my sister friends. I'm so glad we decided to try this place as our 1st African restaurant. I have been here 3x with family. I haven't had a bad dish here. There's so much food you will get a doggie bag. Bring your plastic containers to avoid a charge. I'm a fish lover & you will slap your mama over the fried croaker. The lamb is tender and can't say enough of their country chicken. Very good sorrel & ginger juice. We made an Africian AlDonald Palmer juice by mixing them. Definitely a place I will go to monthly. Large good food and Ivory Coast food seasoned to perfection. Please check them out, you will not be disappointed 😋😋😋

I’ve got to give a shout out to the content creator who did a blog about this restaurant. Got to also give a shout out to the waitress that served us Fanta. Now to the food; OMG it was amazing! My friend got the Big Sosso and I got the Dibi Mouton and we enjoyed the flavors was on point. For the first time trying Attieke it was amazing. The only downside was the wait time to get our food it was however worth the wait. We will definitely be going back to this restaurant and we will be bringing friends to enjoy the experience. Yop City 10/10!

I went to Yopcity on a late night cause they dont close until 2 am, had the fried Crocker and rice, the Crocker was seasoned to perfection, and the rice was delicious. Will definitely be going back, tho i didnt stay the atmosphere looked great i would definitely sit and eat, staff were very welcoming.

I had a really great experience at this restaurant. The customer service stood out right away. I was seated promptly without having to wait, and the waitress was very kind, attentive, and checked on us often to make sure everything was okay. I’m usually not a fan of tilapia, but theirs was so good well seasoned, fresh, and paired perfectly with the pepper sauce. I also tried attieke for the first time and, although I was hesitant, it surprised me with how delicious it was, especially when I sprinkled a little Maggi cube over it. The plantains were cooked just the way I like them, slightly overripe and sweet.
