THE STAFF IS BEYOND KIND and ATTENTIVE! They deserve a 10 out of 5! The service was just phenomenal. The hospitality was amazing. As we left, each individual staff member said thank you. Our waiter explained everything to us including all the sauces and menu. He saw my husband couldn’t use chopsticks and said “do you want a fork” Amazing attention to detail. Not even a single wrapper was left on the table. My husband and I had such a good time with such a spacious table. The food was extremely flavorful. They have amazing side dishes and the beef belly had a bold delicious flavor. We also had the kimchi stew which was so comforting on a chilly New York City night. The kimchi rice was exploding with flavors. I immediately texted my friends raving about this place.
Excellent Korean barbecue. The meat was top quality and the mains and sides were a cut above those at any other Korean barbecue in NYC. The tables are large and comfortable. The food was slow to come out, perhaps because they had problems with the gas line so they had to cook everything in the kitchen. They could have served the banchan first, but they didn't.
Lovely experience at Yoon Haeundae Galbi from start to finish. Reservations were made easily on Resy. The restaurant had issues with the grills the night we went but they had great communication before and throughout our meal. The staff is friendly and very attentive. The food and drinks were absolutely delicious. They have a yuzu ade that is nice and refreshing. The Wagyu Kimchi Fried Rice was made with wagyu, egg, mozzarella cheese, and scallion. Cooked beautifully with mouth watering wagyu and a great cheese pull. The Pork Kimchi Stew had pork belly, tofu, and enoki mushrooms. A comforting and belly warming meal. There were also two dessert options and we went with the Chochung U-gua Gelato. It was topped with honey caviar, a rice cracker, rice syrup, and sesame. Will be back to try the
We had a dinner reservation and had a nice experience. They had issues with the table grills, but we still had a good time. Their communication was on point and appreciated. They accommodated by bringing any selected meat grilled by the kitchen to the table & offered our choice of a complimentary ssam set (lettuce wrap) or dessert item in addition. Great ambiance, upscale modern w/ low lighting, perfect for any groups. The service is also top notch, servers are very attentive and helpful. Shoutout to Chanhong for taking care of us. The food was solid. We started off with the dumplings, got the fresh short rib, wagyu short rib, wagyu kimchi fried rice, and Busan cold noodles. The fresh short ribs and wagyu short ribs were great. Their meat quality is great. We ordered a few of each & the
Pretty good experience overall. Food was delicious and photogenic. I liked the tteokbokki. The gumtang was ok and gets cold really quick. Love the banchan but not so much the lotus root salad.
