Yonutz Donuts and Ice Cream - Sandy UT

Came to try out yonutz for the first time. Syed all over TikTok and thought I had to give it a try. Although I’m not a fan of crazy desserts this is one of the few times I actually enjoyed it. They Panini press a doughnut with your choice of ice cream inside. The warmth of the doughnut and the cold ice cream together really create something special. If you have a sweet tooth, I would highly recommend giving this place a try. We got the cookies and cream ice cream with a cookies and cream doughnut on top. Also, we got a Biscoff doughnut with Biscoff ice cream on the inside. Both of them did not disappoint.

Stopped by since we looked on google for a donut place nearby that we haven’t tried. I have to say I was a little disappointed from when we walked in to a fairly empty donut display. I was hoping to have lots of options in larger donuts, but there were more empty spaces than types of donuts displayed. The employee mentioned they could make any type that we wanted. The biscoff was tasty but very sweet. The raspberry filled were pretty good. The Nutella donut was my daughter’s favorite. Overall, nothing different that makes Yonutz stand out. Donuts were good but very very sweet, but nothing super special that would make me want to come back.

It was an interesting experience as it’s not something I’ve eaten before. I got the Biscoff donut with ice cream, it was good but I wish it had more ice cream inside. It costs more than it’s worth, it’s twice the cost if you want to get it with toppings instead of plain. I mostly rated 3 stars due to the atmosphere. There was no music, it was awkwardly quiet so it wasn’t really a place you want to hang out.

Save your money and your time. $9 for a average donut topped with ice cream and oreo crumbs? The ice cream was okay but not worth $8. There's a reason they don't post their prices on their menus. People posting the prices online would deter people like me from entering the store. The sole employee was kind but I don't know if it was poor training but it took forever to get our order. The group before us got one item then she took our party of 4 order, got 2 of our donuts (style over flavor), got the rest of the order for the previous group (like 10 min later.
