Yonkers Diner

Atmosphere: Quaint little place with no frills. Simple. The location can be a bit off putting as you are more on an commercial strip. There is a parking lot across the street. Food: Fantastic! The breakfast was delicious! Ordered for 3 : 2 eggs, homefries, bacon, Bacon egg&cheese on a roll and Eggs with cornbeef hash. All members scraped the plate. The home fries were so tasty. It had such a nice crisp on top. Eggs were scrambled just right. Food was cooked with love and care. Service was wonderful and staff was very pleasant. Definently a nice hidden gem! Things to note: there is a kids menu but only for lunch/dinner, no breakfast options. Each person you'll spend on average about $13 to $15/pp, obviously depends on what you order. My husband and I were looking for a diner outside of Harlem. As a chef, I’m ALL about flavor and the city is lacking in good, homestyle diners and friendly vibe.. So we came to Yonkers.. Found this hidden gem, with homestyle pancakes. I had the Mexicita Omellete with spinach and you can’t go to a diner without trying their pancakes. So buttery and tasty and perfect texture, NOT FROZEN.. The omelette was super flavorful and their home fries were perfect. Not overly or under seasoned. Perfect… Their coffee was smooth. I’m so full had to take it home and save it from my husband who kept stealing my eggs lol.. I will be coming back especially because the waitress was so darn nice, warm and friendly.. Thank you 🙏🏽

Amazing food and service! The food was so delicious! I got the churritos french toast, and the home fries with eggs, bacon, and whole wheat toast. It was amazing! Highly recommend this place to others! 😁😋🤤

I’ve been coming to this diner for years, and it’s still my favorite spot. The food is always consistently great — fresh, hot, and generous portions every time. The staff feels like family and always makes you feel welcome. It’s one of those places you can always count on for a great meal and a comfortable atmosphere. I’ll be coming here for many more years to come!

Stopped by for a quick dinner this weekend. The place was empty. The waitress was friendly and attentive. I’d love to come by again for breakfast and try their other dishes. The restaurant can feel a little claustrophobic. No windows except for the 2 in the front.
