Second visit today to try other items on the menu. Today was not it, definitely changed my review. The Yook Gae Jang was very very bland, so many vegetables and really no noodles. Very disappointing. Service was good at the beginning, there were only two tables at the time so not busy at all. Towards the last 15 - 20 mins, only the other table was being serviced. I waited about 15 mins to ask for a to go box for my child's meal (a grown up plate). Not once was I assisted but the other table was. Service and food was not good today. First time there the experience was a 4.5 🌟 Crystal provided good service, was kind and knowledgeable. Neat place, a bit small but clean. The food was absolutely authentic and flavorful. The shrimp yakisoba was great, the kimbap was excellent, and the chicken
I have ate Korean dishes all over the world. SouthKorea, Guam and many hole in the wall places in the States, Yong’s holds up with some of the best for flavor and service. We have been eating here for years for the take-out. Recently we sat down and that’s when the full effect happened. Full portions of Banchan and multiple dishes served. The food comes out hot and fresh with full flavor. The service is the best in the area. This is our go to spot for Korean cuisine.
I can’t recommend this restaurant enough! As someone who grew up with a Korean grandmother cooking me traditional dishes, stepping into this place immediately felt like home. The atmosphere is warm and inviting: dim lighting, beautiful artwork on the walls, and light K-pop playing softly in the background all made it feel like a little escape. The food was absolutely delicious and tasted just as authentic as the meals I grew up with. The quality is outstanding, and the service was just as impressive. Our waitress was very friendly, attentive, and we had a very short wait time. It’s clear how much care and love this family-owned restaurant puts into everything. If you’re looking for authentic Korean food paired with a cozy, welcoming vibe, or a quick to go snack from their market, this is d
The Seaweed soup taste like water. I'm disappointed and dismayed. My recently visits wasn't good at all. Foods lacked of flavor, quantity of meats are lessen. I used to order here whenever I'm craving for Korean foods specially when I was pregnant, gave birth and breastfeeding journey because the seaweed soup is good for nursing mommas last time their seaweed soup taste like water with seaweed in it. 🤮🤢 less dasida? No seasonings? A couple days ago I crave and ordered couple soups and foods to satisfy my cravings to my surprise foods wasn't good at all. What happened?! Kimchi jjigae have no pork in it. The taste change! I'm not sure if the chef change but I was Dismayed especially for the seaweed soup. I'm looking forward for all these foods that I ordered but it taste blunt, it taste lik
I don't like giving bad reviews and I'm not as familiar with Korean food as I am other Asian foods. I have had some amazing Korean food in my lifetime but this doesn't even come close. The food basically is very bland and extremely limited on the protein. My dish in particular had MAYBE a tablespoon of thin sliced marinated ribeye and another tablespoon of thin sliced veggies. They didn't skimp on the glass noodles though. I have to say the ribeye in my dish was amazingly tasteful. I would have loved to have at least 4 ounces of meat. This was less than an ounce. They have just opened a few weeks ago and maybe working out the kinks. Their Oriental market had maybe 10 to 15 items, mostly bagged crisps. Service was impeccable but the atmosphere left much to be desired. Maybe install a mus
