Yolo County Library - Clarksburg Branch

an't believe there's only 1 review so far of this lovely library in this cute, quaint, riverside town of Clarksburg! =) We only live about 15 minutes away, but we've never been here, and finally made the trek out today. This Yolo county library is only opened on Tuesday through Thursday, and the hours are more limited, but it does only till 7 pm (10 am opening on Tuesday and Thursday, 1 pm on Wednesday). According to the librarian and a brochure, this house was purchased in 1965 by the Friends of the Library to create a library in this little town, and is owned by the Friends of the Library and rented out to Yolo county which is a rare and special arrangement these days. The house/library itself isn't big, but it's layout very efficiently and organized well so that it does have a meaning

Truly wonderful little place, the library assistant is a really cool and helpful person. If you're in the area and need a library, I cannot recommend this one enough.

Cute little library with nice staff and a good selection.

Currently sitting at a free, kid-friendly movie being projected in the library! I love that this library not only supplies my DECS kid with library books, it also comes up with creative community engagement. Thanks for always thinking of fun things to get people into libraries!!!
