Honestly I couldn’t wait to write this review❤️ I have been looking for my childhood memory Chinese food restaurants for yearssss! Guessss what we found it at YOLO Cafe!! And I am so thankful to God to find Yolo Cafe🎉 As soon as I called to make the order over the phone Leo was so helpful and sweet. She has excellent customer service over the phone and in person. Thank you so much Leo for everything. I ordered Veggie Chinese Fried Rice with Hunan Shrimp (this was sooooo delicious and flavorful shrimp with veggies medium hot), beef egg rolls (the best I’ve had, it had the flavor when I was a child, crispy and flavorful), we also got “Sesame chicken with white meat and light batter (it was sooooooo delicious and very flavorful), egg drop soup was amazing! I initially thought this was a promising newly opened Chinese restaurant and decided to try it for lunch. While the menu offers a good variety of vegetarian options, most of the dishes were overly salty and seemed to use the same base sauce, making it difficult to distinguish one dish from another or appreciate individual flavors. On a positive note, the service staff were friendly, attentive, and courteous, which made the dining experience more pleasant. Unfortunately, despite the decent service, the food itself did not feel authentic or representative of traditional Chinese cuisine. Overall, it has potential, but the flavors and authenticity fall short of expectations.

It’s sad that happy uncle retired but YOLO cafe has renovated the whole place, provided better service, more food choices with some vegan options. We normally order same food we did when it was happy uncle but lately we’ve been trying new menus. My wife loves the salty and spicy pork chop, made it easier to eat with smaller cuts, spice enough and less breading. I like there vegetarIan beef mixed veggies , i just hope they add more veggies on it. I also like there vegetable soup noodles!

Ordered take out and it was very good! Nice amount of heat and spice! One dish was extra hot and one was medium. Both were perfect Food was hot and ready. Nice sized portions. Staff was pleasant

I got the house noodle soup and the popcorn chicken. Popcorn chicken is alright. The noodles are a bit softer than I liked and the broth needs more flavor. You can still taste the subtle natural flavors of the fresh condiments like the vegetables… which is nice. It wasn’t salty or anything, and I think it tasted better after adding some soy sauce over the counter. Place is clean and their service is good.
