Yoimi Sushi & Hibachi Salt Lake City

The tempura veggies were amazing!! I don't like sushi so I did the grilled chicken and was pleased. Nice sized portions, fun cozy atmosphere. Happy to have a great place for Japanese cuisine with friendly service.

This was the most disgusting sushi (I'd rather eat grocery store sushi) but the service was worse. At least from the BOH. My boyfriend had ordered a pick up order of 5 rolls for us to eat tonight. He brought it home for us to enjoy only to be disappointed. The spicy mayo was SO SO sweet and the rice was WET. Not like a little soft, it was absolute mush and disgusting. The salmon had a weird aftertaste, the eel was nothing but fat, and all of the rolls were cut terribly and uneven causing them to fall apart when picked up. I ate one piece of each of my 3 rolls. My boyfriend ate maybe 4 pieces of his 2 rolls. Since we lived super close by, I requested he bring the food and show them to ask for a replacement. So glad we found them on Google. The food is delicious and the serving size is big. We had food to take home. They're so warm, humble, and friendly. Great customer service. They opened the door for us and added a smaller table to accommodate our family. They made my birthday very special by giving me a desert and singing for me! So thankful for their warm and sweet spirits. They brought joy to me and my family. Definitely made my day very special! We highly recommend them and we'll definitely come back. Their new to Utah. Incredibly delicious food, very reasonable prices. We tried a bunch of items including the dancing eel roll, Hawaiian roll, OMG roll, and crispy rice tuna. Service was prompt and every single thing we tried was amazing! Will definitely be back.

Retno was our server and she is very helpful. I got the lobster habatchi and we got three sushi rolls and a very fresh maguro tuna sashimi. This is our first time although it won’t be our last.
