An old-school hot dog spot that caught my eye with its giant sign — proof that good advertising really works! So I decided to give it a try. I ordered the cheese hot dog with everything, and the place itself had a lively, classic vibe. When the food came out, it looked great and came with crispy fried onions on top. The sauce was tasty, but like most hot dogs, the sausage was a bit salty, and the pickles were a bit too sharp. I’d recommend asking to have the toppings separated if you’re picky about balance. Overall, great service, fun atmosphere, and definitely worth stopping by to try this legendary hot dog at least once!
When you say your the king 🤴 then you should be able to deliver on that. I feel as though they feel way short. I got 2 Yocco hotdogs and I'm still looking for the chili. The hotdog it's self was tasty but lacked adequate chili.
Went through the drive through. My friend told me about their yocoo dog I think it's called. It was super super good, however when we pulled the one out of the bag it wasn't even fully wrapped. Take the time, that little stuff matters whether you think it or not. No one wants a naked dog in their bag. But let me reiterate that it was REALLY good. You can't do much with hot dogs, but these guys def know how to make them.. The pierogis are also amazing, and the fries. I like my pierogis a tad bid crispy however, these were very good! Will definitely stop again when in the area.
The hot dogs were great, but the real star.. The Onion rings might have been the best I've ever had!
Well I'd like to say I've been going to yaccos my whole life. My parents bought them, and then myself for my family. I'm 59 years old. All I can say is I'll buy the sauce, but that's it. I'll make my own at home using Hatfield hot dogs, the yacco sauce, my own onions and my own hot and spicy mustard, then I go to Redner's and buy their Ranch rolls. I have to cut the hot dogs differently to fit into the ranch roll shape but it is the closest thing to the yakko's original hot dog rolls. For some reason they don't use the same hot dog rolls, the ones they use now are very thick and chewy, they are terrible!!! they ruin the hot dog. Plus the hot dog rolls we're not only terrible but they were sliced really weird, they weren't sliced properly. Which really didn't matter because we cut out a big
