Ying Hana Teppanyaki

This place is great. I come here whenever im in South Los Angeles and am craving teriyaki plates. The chicken is on fire, the shrimp and salmon is phenomenal. I wasn’t a fan of the steak but this place has not let me down. Highly recommend this place. A little pricey but well worth it and quality food.

Ying Hana keeps it simple on sauces (just basic soy and teriyaki), so I leveled mine up with a Wingstop run: their Garlic Parmesan (creamy, buttery umami bomb) mixed with Spicy Korean Q. Drizzle that hybrid on the steak for cheesy-grill perfection, toss it with the noodles for sticky fusion magic, and let it glaze the fried rice for a sweet-spicy crunch. It's not on their menu, but damn, it should be—turns a solid plate into a mouth-orgasming masterpiece. (Grab extras from Wingstop for like $0.75 a pop; it's the ultimate hack.) To reset the palate? Swing across the street to Tacos Gavilan (4380 S Broadway, literally a 2-minute jaunt) for their creamy horchata ($3.50

Want some decent hibachi for a good price and amount then this is the place. They have a three piece meat hibachi meal and it’s pretty good also it’s $19 and some change but that’s a steal especially if you’re getting salmon, shrimp, calamari, or scallops since I’m a pescatarian. I’ve had better hibachi for a higher price but I’ve also had LA’s terrible high priced hibachi and I can tell you now this is great place to grab some decent hibachi for a low price. 3 MEAT COMBO FOR $19!!! Even when you substitute for fried rice you’re paying $22/23 for a 3 MEAT COMBO I don’t think I’ve been to this place in person but I always order it thru UberEats or DoorDash and this is a good place for the price and amount of food.

Excellent food. I've tried the salmon plate and the combo plate. Well worth a visit. Friendly staff and quick service.

Just insanely good food. if you want a STAPLE of Teppanyaki, go here. can not recommend this place enough!
