Yetz's Bagels - Isla Vista

Rare on the West Coast to find a bagel shop that honors the tradition. The bagel was definitely properly boiled and had decent chew but still a bit soft and fluffy like a California "bagel" if that's your thing. Limited seating, two large outside tables.

Nice to see this attempt at New York style bagels with schmeer and other toppings. I enjoyed stopping by. Early morning is good for parking. Great service, friendly and helpful. They offer cold brew or hot coffee. The cold brew with a splash of oat milk hit the spot. I agree with another reviewer who found the bagels themselves were an attempt to 'California style' a New York style. The result wasn't what I was looking for so I likley will not stop in very often. Too soft and fluffy for me. Maybe they will dare to make their bagels truely East Coast chewy or maybe it's the water?

Yetz Bagels is my favorite spot in Isla Vista, their bagels are amazing, worth the wait in lines on busy weekends, and everyone who works there is so sweet and super friendly. I pretty much go there at least once a week I can’t get enough of their bagels. Would definitely recommend you try it out!

Yetz is the BEST bagel spot in town! Not just Isla Vista, but all of Santa Barbara. The bagels are fresh and the service is quick. Every time I have been here, the place is clean, welcoming, and full of happy customers. My favorite bagel is the bacon, egg, and cheese, on an everything bagel. Sooo delicious!

Ordered the Deluxe on sesame and Daniel and his team delivered! Super fast and friendly service. The lox and bagel were very fresh and the bagel was definitely what this east coaster desired. Best bagel in the Santa Barbara area on taste and texture. So so glad I got in on week 1!
