Yerevan Café is one of those rare places that feels both home-cooked and special at the same time. Everything we tried was beautifully prepared and genuinely delicious. The food was outstanding. The stuffed flatbread was warm, soft, and perfectly charred, served with creamy yogurt and tender grape leaves that tasted incredibly fresh. The lahmajun was flavorful and comforting — exactly what you want from Armenian-style flatbread. We also loved the red pepper spread they serve on the side, which added the perfect brightness and spice. The desserts are a must. The honey cake was the star — light, tender layers with just the right amount of sweetness. Their dessert case is full of classics (baklava, gatta, Napoleon, and more), and everything looked handmade and generous. Great wine and even be
We ordered two Armenian coffees, yerevan style khachapuri, lahmajun, zhingyalov hats, and homestyle baklava. Everything was light and flavorful. I really appreciated that the baklava wasn't overly sweet or drenched in sugar syrup. Customer service was superb from the moment we walked in. We'd absolutely come back to support this mom and pop shop.
Come here for the culture, experience and done-low atmosphere in a bustling neighborhood. Very good coffee and the food options differ from your average cafe. The lahmajun is simply fantastic, and they have frozen lahmajun you can take home. The Ararat Brandy (apricot, coffee) are something to write home about.
The pistachio cake is so good I came back the next day. Highly recommend the Armenian coffee and Rose latte. Pistachio latte is also good but bit more sweet for my taste. Also, such a cute and comfy place to read a book or work on your laptop.
I'm so glad I got to visit Yerevan Cafe! It was such a treat. For one thing, the decor is beautiful and ties together wonderfully - the pottery elements throughout the cafe follow a theme which is echoed in the dishware used for hot beverages. There's a lot of art on display and attention to detail, and that is echoed in the food itself. This was my first time trying Armenian cuisine and it was an enticing introduction!! We got drinks (an iced mocha and a cherry blossom latte) which I quite liked, though there were a lot of options I would really like to try next time! We had the Yerevan trio - khatchapuri, sarma dolma, and soujuk pie as well as lahmajun. I hope I get the chance to return. They had fridges in the back with Armenian ingredients you can buy. The soujuk, which is a beef sau
