Yellow House Hotel

The soups are amazing. The atmosphere and service is really great. The food....... I had rack of lamb for 40 bucks. I guess a little cheaper than shoe leather. Small rack and dry as a bone. Way overdone. Wife got salmon that was pretty good. It's hit or miss. But don't accept shitty food if you get it cause your paying for it! Well, I did accept shitty food and now I think I should have said something. But at a table of 10, do you want to send food back only to be the last one eating eventually. I think it's the principal of the matter.

My wife and I had dinner last evening, 7/14/23. We had planned do dine at another resturant but the wait was too long. We had past the Yellow House a number of times on our visits too an antique barn directly accross the street. Though a half hour ride from our home, we decided to give them a try. What a great surprise, we enjoyed a great meal! My wife had the seafood fettuccine pasta with sun dried tomatoes, and I had a bowl of their signature snapper soup and the duck entree'. Both meals were exceptional, the wait staff (Brian) great, and the bar room very charming. We will be back!

Dinner was amazing! They served a special with Cobia on cheddar risotto , collard greens , and. tomato jam. Honestly had to google that fish. Wow, it was delicious! So savory, paired perfectly with the chef’s choice of dish. Ambience, amazing service, Quality experience And really good food. Highly recommend.

Went there for an anniversary dinner specifically for the snapper soup. I got soup minus the snapper. The food was average and the service was not great. We felt ignored most of the time. It took almost 30 minutes from the time I requested the dessert menu until we actually got our dessert. The assorted fruit pies on the menu amounted to one choice. The server was courteous when we actually saw her. Overall , very disappointed.

My husband and I absolutely love Yellow house. The food is wonderful, but the service is a five star on all li levels. When you arrive Janet is si very friendly Neno the bartender is right out of the best restaurant anywhere. So efficent, and so very friendly to all! Highly recommend this lovely place.
