Yello Sub

I really hate being the one against the grain here, maybe I just caught this place on a bad night but the food was really bland almost no flavor at all. The food looked really good but it tasted to me like I threw a few days old sandwich together at home, really disappointing. The salad looked really good as well but had very little flavor compared to other Caesar salads I’ve had before.

Huge kudos to the team at Yello Sub in Lawrence. We needed a couple sandwiches for the noon game at Arrowhead. Knowing they wouldn’t be open in time to get the food Sunday morning, we got them Saturday night. They fixed the sandwiches with just the meats and cheese on the bread, placed a piece of parchment paper between the meat and cheese, separately wrapped the lettuce and veggies in foil and put the oil vinegar in a separate container. The sandwiches were perfect this morning! No other sandwich shop would have gone the extra mile like Yello Sub did. You all are the bomb!

They got our large order exactly right and prepped our sandwiches fast. Really good experience!

One of my favorite sub-locations! I never fail to get horrible service and quality from the big names like Subway and Jimmy John's. But it's always top-notch at Yellow Sub/Planet Sub! i love the bread they use here. its soft and fresh. the meatless masterpiece was great. super cheesy and tasted healthy. gonna be coming back to try out the other subs!
