Yeller Sub

Pleasantly surprised! No regrets. I've known of this Yeller place since I was a kid in the '80s, but never tried it out. I just figured it was a sup par place. I finally tried it out based on positive review on FB and some stand up gestures from the owner in trying to right a perceived wrong. Dude. This place is a good place to get a bite. The subs were GOOD. Good tasting bread, fresh ingredients, AND not sloppily made! The meat to bread ratio was perfect. I got nothing bad to say or nitpick with the subs. ...well maybe go back to 1980's prices. LOL. I also tried the onion rings too. To find good onion rings is in this city is kinda hard. Genuinely one of the best sandwiches I’ve had to date. The service was phenomenal, they brought the food out to us and took the trash away despite being so busy. First time here and definitely not the last. Employees were great and friendly and the food was AMAZING !!!!! definitely get the dressing with your sandwich, dunno why other places haven’t done that. I honestly fell in love at first bite ❤️ the soft scent of freshly baked, fresh crisp produce, and tender deli meat, this is everything a sandwich should be. And on the plus side the criss cut fries are so crispy yet fluffy and perfect!!! This place is a 10/10 for me.

Not only are they a local business with great staff and amazing customer service, but they'll make you a sub that'll change you. I had lunch at The Yeller Sub Restaurant and got some work done while I was there for about an hour and a half. Throughout my visit, I was checked on multiple times to see if I needed anything and if I was enjoying my lunch. The owners were incredibly accommodating and even showed me an area where I could plug in my laptop charger if needed. Several regular customers came in while I was there, and it was clear how well the owners know their community—they greeted customers by name and even knew their orders by heart. From the moment you walk in, the vibe and greetings are warm and welcoming. It was also nice to hear other lunch guests chatting and clearly enjoying their meals.
