YD TOGO HOUSE

I got their food at a BTS ARMY day event with Sacramento BTS ARMY during the summer. My Korean mom LOVED their food so we sought out their restaurant in Elk Grove. I love the concept of you picking your own plate (like Panda Express/Chipotle) and I grabbed a variety and my mom grabbed her own variety of dishes. Generally the food is great, and the music is of course, Kpop, and lots of parking area. The food itself, you can tell it's been sitting for a minute or few, but the flavor is great, and the refrigerated dishes are fresh. My Korean mom was especially impressed by their seaweed salad (a bit salty and brine-y for me) and she loved their kimchi. I personally like the Korean salad, which is basically a konjac jelly noodle and veggies mixed a mayo sauce (don't judge it till you try it,

such a good place to get lunch on the go. there isn't much indoor seating, but the atmosphere is cozy and inviting. the food is always mouth watering with generous portion sizes that leave you satisfied. the vegetable gimbap is on point with a delicious sauce. triangle gimbap is always fresh. the wait is never long, big orders are fulfilled in 15 minutes maximum. definitely a place you should try for quick good quality korean food.

I ordered pork bulgogi and jokbal through online order. It was easy process, but due to some tech issue, they received my order late, so my order wasn't ready by the time I got there. However, YD TOGO House workers soon realized the error and delivered my food as fast as they could!! I really appreciated how they try to resolve the issue (They also wrote a cute message on the container 😆). Also, they included a few pieces of Yangyum chicken 🍗 as compensation, which were amazing!!! It is not on the menu but they are also selling Jjajang myeon and Jjampong.

Came here for lunch and I can surely say it did not disappoint!! It was reasonably priced and the portions were huge. We shared a jumbo portion for two people and still had leftover. I would get the brown rice instead of the white rice because it’s actually the purple rice.

Came here on Christmas Day, and the staff were working so hard!! Really love this spot for their authentic Korean dishes and banchan choices. I always get jokbal, pork bulgogi, and/or beef bulgogi. I can't recommend this restaurant enough for their delicious food, variety, and fast service. I've been back many times. They also have lunch specials - looking forward to try their tteokbokki sometime. Definitely recommend checking it out and supporting an awesome local business!
