YC Ribs

Be prepared to wait. And then wait. We were told it would be 20 to 25min for 3 people but it was more of a 50min wait. Once seated we ordered the combo #2 (rack of bbq ribs, corn bread, hot wings, rice & fries), mac n cheese, & chicharrón. Overall the service was very slow, it took approximately 40min to receive our combo then about 10min after to receive the Mac n cheese then the chicharrón last. If you arrive hungry, just be prepared to wait a bit for your food. There wasn't bread or chips to pick on so we were pretty antsy waiting. The best items from what we ordered were the ribs and Mac & cheese. The ribs were fall off the bone tender, well seasoned and delicious. The Mac and cheese was creamy and seasoned as well. The hot wings were pretty average & spicy but did come out a bit cold.

From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented—you can tell they truly care about quality. The service was quick without feeling rushed, and the portion sizes were perfect. We left full, happy, and already planning our next visit. Highly recommend!

I love a hidden gem but this was not it. It took almost two hours to be seated, the tables were not cleaned properly, and the service was horrible. The drinks came out one at a time and on top of that I never received my drink, I had to ask another server for my drink. Waited for over 10 minutes to get a can of soda which is in the fridge behind the counter is crazy. Although it took about 20 minutes to get a party of 4 drinks, and another 5 minutes to get some cups of ice, and a few more minutes to get some straws; the food was good. The drinks were gone before the food came but the other server helped us out and got us more. *CHECK YOUR RECEIPTS* The menu prices and the prices on the receipts are not the same. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 YC Ribs never disappoints! The food was absolutely amazing, the ribs were juicy, tender, and packed with flavor, and the steak was cooked perfectly. The creamy sauce with the mofongo added the perfect touch, and that little cup of green sauce was bursting with freshness. Everything on the plate looked and tasted like it was made with care.

Absolutely delicious food and great customer service. The place was cozy and very clean. The servers were very attentive and kind. Family friendly environment. Would definitely come back again. We drove from Staten Island in search of good Dominican food and ribs and we were so happy to find YC Ribs. This foodie is Very satisfied and will be a returning customer!!!
