Yashi Sushi

They sweetly visit and adjust to cliental. I appreciate their knowledge and they share to carefully choose who you respect. Some people slightly accidentally visit. I like their lunch special of the chicken bento box with request of teriyaki on the chicken and fried rice as the option. The chef well cooks and seasons the broccoli. They make good yum yum sauce as a light touch and provide soy sauce. I wish they had more help. Their cooked rolls of either the tropical storm or California with either choice of salmon or scallops and spicy sauce on top are good for a different meal. I enjoy their lightly sweet side ginger salad with my sushi choice. They make well the lightly fried breaded ice cream for fun special occasion. The chicken or steak fried rice is a good take home. I stopped by Yashi Sushi for lunch today and had a pretty good experience. The restaurant is reasonably priced and has a nice, quiet atmosphere, perfect for a mid-day break. This time I decided to try something a little different and went with a Spicy Fantastic Tuna Roll, which is a deep fried roll. While it was tasty and the quality seemed great, I think I still prefer my usual go-to, the standard spicy tuna roll. Something about a hot roll just feels a bit off to me, but the flavor was definitely solid. I also tried the vegetable spring rolls, and those were excellent, crispy and flavorful. Service was good and efficient. I’ll definitely be visiting again, and next time I’ll stick with my tried-and-true spicy tuna roll.

My family and I have been coming here for years! The owners are always friendly and truly care about their customers. I’ve never ordered something I didn’t like and will continue to go here as long as I am in Jacksonville. They have amazing lunch specials and everything is always fresh. Good size rolls and hibachi portions. The dynamite roll is a personal favorite and I LOVE their fried rice!

We got takeout from this restaurant. We were struck by how lovely the interior was and would have eaten in if we hadn't already made plans to take out. Miso soup, nigiri, spicy tuna roll, avocado rolls, and veggies tempura were all excellent. Honestly after our experience here I wondered if the less-favorable reviews on here were posted by competitors. We had no issues with freshness, taste, or temperature of anything we ordered. We're already looking forward to our next visit!

Really great sushi! Service is fast and owners remember you and your orders and just awesome, friendly service. Raw sushi is very fresh and tastes good. One of my favorite places for lunch while on break from work.
