Yanni's Gyro Express

It's a casual place. I had a hard time deciding what I wanted to eat because there were so many great options. I'm vegetarian so I was excited to see that. My spinach pie was very tasty and they really loaded it with spinach generously. Same for the Greek salad--they gave you plenty of olives, tomatoes, etc. which I noticed and appreciated! Service was warm, prompt, and friendly. I will be back a lot.

Ordered fresh bruschetta to go and got all the way home and it’s not fresh bruschetta. It’s on pita and topped with hummus , onions tomatoes and LOADED with feta cheese. Really disappointed I drove 30 minutes into Monticello to get yannis for dinner. Also my French onion soup had all absorbed into the bread. By the time I got home there was 20% soup left. Should leave the bread on the side for to go orders. I’m sure someone out there would enjoy it but I don’t like feta and I just wanted a classic bruschetta so this is just going straight in the garbage. My partner and I are sick and just wanted something light to take home to eat.

This place was once very good and the portions were big..I always ordered the Greek chicken salad 3 times a week and then I started getting some pieces of chicken not cooked all the way and some overcooked because some pieces were big and some tiny so no uniform sizes..I also got some old Taziki sauces and was on the toilet for 2 days. I tried to gi e them another chance recently but the portion was small again and the lady was nasty at the drive thru window.

Filling food, and pretty good. The service was good and fast, our food came out not 5 minutes after we finished ordering. Reasonably priced, and pretty big serving sizes. It's close to the highway too; it's not on any of the signs on the highway, but it's definitely better than any of the fast food that is.

Large sandwiches and quick service. Had the Gyro Panini with grape leaves and fries and an appetizer of hummus. The sandwiches were large. The meat was cut into very thick slices, which I think would have been better thinly sliced. I may not have asked for lettuce because there were only a few shredded slices underneath the sandwich but not in the samdwhich. In the future, I'll ask for more. Overall, the meal was good, and the service was quick for takeout.
