Yanako Restaurant

Awesome experience as always! Food was top notch, pleasant staff, and a nice comfortable ambiance. I will say though, I wish the snow Crab Shokupan bread special was explained a bit better on the menu or before I ordered it. It tasted amazing but it was not really an appetizer that even 2 people could share...it was more like a delicious architectural bite. That being said, it was very good and I would order it again... just in a greater quantity. I have been here dozens of times and each and every time is a great experience so I would highly suggest that if you have never been to Yanako to make sure to check them out. They are seriously the best sushi and more!

Very quiet and beautiful environment for a date night! Went on a Sunday at 6pm. The Spicy Tuna Rice Crisps is a must have app! Shared the Sushi and Sashimi for two and enjoyed every bite. Everything tasted fresh.

We ordered four dishes today—two were excellent (negimayaki and salmon teriyaki), while the calamari and one of the special rolls were just okay. Still, we love Yanako for its high-quality ingredients and beautifully presented dishes.

Great selection of well-prepared appetizers, but the sushi was the star of the show. This was the freshest sushi I’ve found in the Northwest part of Philadelphia. Will definitely be back here. Service was very warm and friendly as well.

The food was wonderful! I have been here many times, and the service is quick, and the food never disappoints. I got the kimono sushi, which was very good. It was sweet and had a tangy eel sauce. If you like udon, I definitely recommend nabeyaka, which has a delicious broth.
