Yamato Japanese Steak House

Went there last night for dinner and got food poisoning from eating their sushi. No doubt about where it came from because that was my first and only meal I had that day. My husband had a hibachi dinner and he was fine so it was definitely the sushi.

Their party boat selection was delicious. We also had the grilled squid, edamame and an additional vegetarian roll for our toddler. Very nice staff. Very brisk take out business too.

Food was not that great especially for the price. I was expecting spectacular cuisine and I received take out that I could have made at home.

So I originally asked for medium rare and that’s the first picture, if you ask me that’s rare..I’ve had medium rare and many other places and it all look this same this is the one location where it did not. I got it sent back to be cooked more after I got it back and took a bite it felt the same toughness on the inside (3rd pic). The lady who was working sat there and argued with me the whole time about what is medium and what’s not, she then proceeded to talk about me and how I don’t know how I want my food made. I told her to come talk to me about it then she rolled her eyes at me. Once I sent it back the first time I just asked them to cook it to medium to make it easier on everyone but it still didn’t come out that way, I maybe had 3 pieces that were medium on the second time out and t
