YamaChen's Sushi

Excellent rolls and appetizers! Love the King Crab roll and Spicy Salmon roll with Shrimp Tempura. Perfect with seaweed salad and pork katsu appetizer. Anna is awesome, very attentive service. I’m allergic to avocado she was quick to offer cucumber as substitute. Highly recommend when in the area.

The selection is great, the sashimi is fresh, and the all of the food options we tried were AMAZING 🙌🙌 Not only that, the ambiance is perfect (not too loud even though we went on Saturday during lunchtime) and the service is top tier. Will be back 🤗🤗

We celebrated my husband’s birthday at YamaChen’s sushi last night, and it was such a great experience. This was actually our second time dining there. The first time, we were extremely impressed, but somehow we let time pass and forgot about this gem, which makes no sense considering how good everything is. The food is excellent, especially the sushi, always fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The service is attentive and welcoming without being overwhelming, and the interior has a really nice atmosphere. On top of that, the location is perfect for us since it’s local. We’re so glad we went back. This is officially our favorite local sushi spot, and we’ll definitely be returning. Thank you for your hard work and for making his birthday dinner special.

This was a very pleasant surprise. I'm very glad this is in my home town because it's amount the top sushi I've had in NoVA in quite some time. The sushi was very fresh, as were the steamed gyoza. The included photo is evidence of that. Service was friendly and attentive. The decor is warm and inviting and the place is spotless (and doesn't smell of cleaning materials, as can happen sometimes). I wanted to order more, but was full. I'll certainly be back.
